Hostel Fish

We the People of Hostel Fish believe that a hostel of backpackers, by backpackers, and for backpackers, shall be a fun, safe, spotless, high-end joint that is Classy as F…(ish!). We are focused on the traveler and the traveler's needs and believe something being affordable should still offer exemplary service and more than expected perks. We believe that shared rooms and neo-urbanism, when combined, create an epicenter for those "seekers of life's adventures" to meet each other and foster new friendships. We're stoked to host you. We're jazzed to have you as our guest. We're here for you and always want to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how we can improve your experience.

First of all, I’d like to point out that the people at Hostel Fish are really great and the working hours were the way it says on Worldpackers which gives the volunteers a lot of time to explore Denver and its surroundings. However, the communication before my arrival was not the way I expected since I stopped receiving any replies to my messages. Sadly I was only able to stay for a few days because of the hostel’s bedbug problem. After having heard of the problem by one of the other volunteers who had bites all over her body I also found them all over my bed and decided to leave the hostel

These are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, the hostel is super clean and cute, in a really good central location, but you do have to keep an eye on the homeless people. Jared is really good at explaining the job and helping whenever needed. Socially, the workers are cordial, but it isn't as family like as it has been at other hostels and we don't do things as a big group very often. If you have the right shifts, you can make money at the bar which is really nice, while also adding a fun dynamic to working at Hostel Fish.

The experience in this hostel was good. I found nice people here to go out and to have fun. Ava and Rachel get really close with me and I hope we will see one day again😙

The job is fine. It’s a normal hostel job. The tasks are like in every outher places.

So if you like to hangout with people and you like to work with costumer, than that is your job☺️

There is lots of opportunity to contribute at Hostel Fish, allways something to do. The work is straight forward, and the number of shifts leave a bunch of time to explore what's going on in Denver and the surrounding areas.

It's easy to enjoy being in such a historically rich, and beautiful building. My month at the Fish felt like three months worth of living, and I enjoyed each minute. Hostel Fish is a living, breathing organism and I feel those of us who pass through there gets what they needed.

I'll always remember the time I lived, worked, and played at Hostel Fish.
