Here we are a Surf Music Hostel with great experiences. Guests and travelers love staying at Ohanalu. We offer surfing, music, languages, and studio classes. We organize surf trips for beginners. We opened the region's best Surf Museum. Our hostel has a stage where the musical events of our band take place and musicians are invited to play with us. We are close to the bus station, markets, bars, a pharmacy and a hospital. Five minutes from the dream beaches and Cibratel! Come live the OHANALU experience.
We are Ohanalu, Kito and Julieta. We rely on the support of volunteers. Each of us plays an important role in our day-to-day life. Regarding us, Kito is an English teacher, musician, and surfer. Juliet is a designer, musician, and also a surfer. She has traveled a lot as a volunteer; she knows exactly what you are looking for in this volunteer and travel experience! We will all accompany you during your stay and the best experience you could wish for! So come ride a wave, some music, acai with coconut water and live the OHANALU experience!

The experience was one of the best. Kitinho and Julieta are the best. It's like being at home, and the best part is that they welcomed me with my kitten at the hostel. 😻 An incredible place to interact with travelers, learn languages, surf and play a musical instrument. I was supposed to stay for a few days and weeks went by, the truth is I loved it 😍✨

Truely loved my time at the hostel surf house. Kito and Juliet are the sweetest, you truely live in a hidden gem, a small brasilian town. We went to samba parties together, had the best barbecue and I have been surfing nearly every day. If you look for a place with thousands of international travellers and crazy nightclubs, this cute town might not be the right place for you. But if you want to spend some time in a super lovely environment, with great hosts and plenty of time to enjoy the ocean, culture and nature, 100% recommendation! Thx for everything.

My time at the hostel was really nice; I met very friendly people! Both Juli and Kito and the other volunteers with whom I shared were very nice people and good teammates with the hostel tasks; it's a calm and fun place.

Our experience at the hostel was excellent! Both Juli and Kito, as well as the other volunteers and people known from the hostel, were very good and great companions, nothing to fault. 100% recommended. Kito is a Naruto fan, that adds points 😂🫂

People, what an amazing experience at the hostel! 🥹💛 I felt at home from day 1. Such a great team, a clean, organized place with a very nice vibe, and being close to the beach you can walk there, bikes are also available, and the surfboards to use as much as you want.🌴 🌊 Volunteering was smooth, hours super flexible, and I still got to enjoy the beaches a lot and explore the city. You can go without fear. It's a hit! 😉🤙
