We have experience working with volunteers for more than 5 years.
It is a noble job that helps our students improve their English and fulfill their dreams. Volunteers can learn Spanish.
It enables cultural exchange.
We are in a strategic location in the center of the country so they can do sightseeing in Cotopaxi, Chimborazo, Quilotoa, the Amazon of Ecuador. In addition to accommodation and meals we include a paid guided tour to the most magical places in Ecuador.
Hello, I am Martín, and together with my wife Carla we run a language franchise that has been operating for 35 years in Ecuador. The method is really effective; we have a team of workers consisting of 20 Ecuadorian people, including teachers and administrative staff, with ongoing training in our method. Additionally, we have around 200 students. We feel we are making a great contribution to society and we need volunteers so that students can practice conversation; the volunteers would only give talks with the students about their travels or their culture. In exchange, we would give them days off and all the guidance so they can do tourism, a very beautiful and complete accommodation, and at least one or two meals a day.

I really enjoyed my time at Ingles Rapido. the school is a nice city, and i would also recommend to visit Baños and Puyo. The people are very welcoming and helpful when you need it, and the students are also willing to give you any tips about food or attractions if you ask :)

The team at the school is kind, inclusive, and helpful. the school itself does not have too much to do if you will be staying a while, but day trips were easy enough to arrange. I stayed for a little less than 2 weeks, and thought it was a great experience. The staff and students were all awesome to work with. I got to learn a lot about the culture and lifestyle through my conversations and also requested Spanish classes while I was there and learned a lot, which I enjoyed! I would highly recommend this experience.

The task is simple: have conversations at the school with the students. It's fun, it lets you meet local people and talk about their concerns, interests, etc. In short, very enriching. On the other hand, it's repetitive and with the younger ones you have to be patient. We also did workshops and promotional videos. For meals, they pay you 20 dollars a week and the apartment is close to the school. Cleaning could improve, especially the bathrooms. The colleagues are kind. Overall it was a good experience.

My experience at the school was very nice. Like others mentioned before, the task basically consists in speaking to the students and help them improve their speaking skills in English. This can get a bit repetitive. On some occasions we participated in activities like board games or a cooking course, which was fun. You also do some social media content. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. The accommodation could be cleaner. I didn't get to know the hosts in person, so I can't say anything them, besides that communication via WhatsApp was fluid and correct. Thank you
