It was a wonderful experience. The place, the dogs and the owner are amazing. Be hosted in a small town in the mountain was such an experience i suggest to do. Very lovely and kind people. I appreciate it!

Volunteering at Ipsum Stella Nova was my first experience with worldpackers and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Konstance and her dad are two of the most lovely people I've ever met and I really enjoyed working with the dogs and learning how to train them. The work hours were absolutely reasonable and Konstance went out of her way to make sure that everyone felt comfortable and not overwhelmed. I had a great time and would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking for some quiet downtime!

I spent 1,5 months volunteering with the shelter in Bardufoss, Norway, taking care of dogs: feeding them and taking them on daily walks. The work was about 4 hours a day, and the schedule was clear and fair, so I always knew what was expected and still had plenty of free time. Both hosts were welcoming, communicative, and genuinely sweet. I had my own lovely room, with a shared kitchen and bathroom, and felt at home quickly. The best part was spending time with the pups and learning how to train them, along with meeting new people and enjoying such a majestic place. Highly recommend!

I spent two months at the dog hotel. There can be many dogs at once, so the work can be demanding. Or there are almost no hoteldogs and you only take care of the permanent residents which are very sweet and love cuddles.
You should be confident in handling different breeds and personalities, as some dogs pull hard on walks or are difficult around strangers or other dogs. Most, however, love cuddles and relaxing in the living room. Konstance is available on Discord for questions, but you mainly take care of the dogs yourself. You have to show initiativ in asking questions to get aswers you need
