A unique experience in the north of Chiang Mai.
If you want to connect with the local culture and spend a few days unplugged, immersed in nature, it's the ideal place.

The family there treats you as if you were one of them; they provide all kinds of amenities, the food is abundant and delicious, and the family is charming.
Be prepared for a unique experience and very different from the usual.

I loved my stay at Spicy Villa. From the moment I arrived, I instantly felt super welcomed and was treated like family by everyone. My work mostly consisted of painting, cleaning and cooking, with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the villa. All my meals were AMAZING,Im leaving the experience with a stuffed belly and many recipes that I will use at home. The waterfall nearby is beautiful, I also got to see the elephants and went on an amazing hike that I will never forget. I am truly thankful to be included in such a wonderful experience, I can only recommend!

I want to say a huge “Thank you” to Sama, Ho, Pon an her family to have made me felt so welcomed during my stay at Spicy Villa!✨I really treasure these memories.the lodge is immaculate and the view from the balcony overlooks a spectacular waterfall flowing in all her grandiosity! Ho speaks English very well and he's an excellent chef! He taught me some delicious Thai dishes! We visited the lodge villages and the elephant sanctuary nearby! The tasks were cleaning bungalows, painting, gardening, cooking but also having time to rest and enjoy the beauty all around! Coco has my heart! Thank you🫶

Our one-week stay was fine. Our main task was to paint the new bungalows; to do this, our schedule was from 9 to 12 a.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m. Sometimes we helped clean the guests' dishes that stayed there overnight. We expected more interaction with the people who live there, but due to language issues communication was a bit tricky. We hoped to be able to help in the kitchen to learn a bit about the culinary traditions, but that didn’t happen. Nevertheless, the food was very tasty. The people who live there were very kind to us.

This place was so beautifull. Spicy villa is located in the mountains near the waterfall. great for those who want to be in the lodge. The host was in Vietnam, but everyone else was so sweet and welcoming. I painted the bungalows which was very peacefull. Other than that there a plenty of task to do around the house. I also had lots of free time to explore and enjoy.
However there are no stores nearby and it is really cold at night. But the host will inform you about all that before your stay.
They have the cutest cats and dogs, and even some elephants up the hill. I really enoyed it!!
