La Casa de Nacho
hello :) we are Nacho and Mari. We have a pizzeria on a beach north of Peru, it's called Lobitos. We invite you to volunteer with us and learn a little more about Peruvian culture :)
The minimum stay is two weeks. The work is 4 hours per day for 5 days a week! That is, there are two days off to enjoy at the beach or make plans at nearby beaches, such as Mancora, Organos or Vichayito!

My time at the host was incredible. Maricarmen is super kind, she made me feel very comfortable to do the tasks and I felt at home. I did surfing lessons with her son Bruno and took my first wave!! Walking the dogs was also one of my favorite parts (I already miss the 6!!) So even with the pizzeria closed, I had a lovely time and helped as I could. Thank you so much for everything! I loved meeting them! I already miss you all so much ❤️

My two-week volunteer experience in Lobitos was a very beautiful one. It's a small, authentic, and very pleasant town.
The work was good and was always done in a very positive atmosphere thanks to Marie Carmen, who is an incredible person, always smiling and kind. There was great camaraderie and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay.

My experience at the host was very pleasant... the schedules are kept and the tasks are very simple... the best part was that I got back into surfing after a long time, it's a place where surfing is in the air haha, no doubt I would come back!!

The experience with the host was very good. We felt very comfortable, the atmosphere was familiar, the tasks to perform were simple and you could choose the schedule that best fit you. As part of the exchange they lent us surfboards, so I enjoyed learning about this sport.
Lobitos is a super relaxed place I would definitely return to!

All I can say is that I was tearing up driving always from the host. Not only did they make you feel like family, their hard work & passion was inspiring. Their requests were simple and they let you create & freshen up whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. I would complete my work and go for lunch & to the beach, then more often than not I would find myself more projects to do “off the clock”. I appreciated them so much & I felt the least I could do was stay busy and help around their house. I fell in love with Lobitos, this beautiful family & their pizza. Thank you so so much!
