La Controra Hostel
Naples is an amazing city! Absolutely unique town in Italy and all Europe!
Our hostel is one of the best structures of the city, with a lot of chilling spaces (bar, tv saloon, working spaces, big garden...) and it is raw to find this kind of place in the city.
Volunteers will be able to meet people from all around the world, have fun and relax on your free time, but also learn about the napolitan culture with our local staff!
We are already a pretty "big" structure with more than 80 beds but we always try to keep a family vibes!
So volunteers will be part of our team as a complete member of it!
We try to communicate a lot between us and think that this is very important for the good ambiance!

Literally my home away from home, 'the hostel' was my best volunteering experience, the staff is INCREDIBLE, the place as well and the pizza a dream, I 100% recommend this place, they’re in super good hands and super close to the Amalfi Coast, Naples is a must! 🥹💌

What a stroke of luck to have been able to experience my volunteering at the hostel! This place and its staff are undoubtedly on another level. I am deeply grateful to have been able to experience the local culture through this volunteering experience. The tasks were very manageable, the team was incredibly close-knit and willing to guide me in case of any doubt; the atmosphere here really feels like a home! Without a doubt I recommend and I will return.

I felt at home from the very beginning. It's more than just a hostel; it's a place where you can meet people from all over the world, share experiences, and create memories that stay with you long after you leave. Volunteering at the hostel was one of the best experiences I could have had. Naples is magical, and I met amazing travelers and locals during my stay. The hostel is safe, well located, close to shops, supermarkets and the metro, and you can walk almost everywhere. Plus,the bus in front of the hostel can get you straight beach.The staff were always kind and welcoming, and the work schedule was always respected, leaving plenty of free time to enjoy the city. It was my first volunteering experience, and I would absolutely recommend the hostel to anyone wanting to experience the best of Naples!

If you're reading this and wondering whether you should volunteer here or not, simple don't think twice and do it. the hostel was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Sonia, Pascuale, Dalila, Manuele, and honestly the whole team are the sweetest people. They're always willing to help you with anything you need and make you feel at home. The hours and tasks are exactly as described and you have plenty of free time to explore Napoli and even visit many amazing places nearby. Thank you guys ❤️🩹✨
