I really enjoyed this first experience with Maximo; it was an opportunity to meet people every day. The tasks are fairly simple and Maximo is attentive to our needs and gives good advice for the visits :)

I had an amazing experience as a volunteer at the hostel and I totally recommend it. Max is a very kind, funny person and he is always willing to help. He explains all the tasks very clearly and, if you need help, he is always there. Also, he speaks English well, which helped me a lot because I still don't speak Spanish. The work is easy and it gives you a lot of free time to explore Arequipa. I had a lot of fun during my stay and I felt very comfortable. Thanks, Max, for everything! I recommend this volunteering to anyone who wants to have a great experience. 🤩

Max is super friendly. He always has tips on what to do in the city. The place is a big house, which helps you unwind nicely. Lunch is SPECTACULAR, definitely one of the highlights of volunteering. Only the dinner could improve, which is the same as breakfast. I would definitely come back

I stayed a week at the Posada, it's a great place to slow down and relax. The hostel is super chill, you rest well, it's quiet. The tasks are as they explain, helping with cleaning of rooms/common areas, laundry, and welcoming guests. The meals are 3: breakfast, lunch and snack. Lunch is amazing!! Máx makes sure it is local food and every day he brings a different one to be able to taste Peruvian culture with everything! Honestly, if you want to rest a bit, save money and soak up Arequipa culture, it's a great place and Máx is a great host to make it possible!

It was my first volunteering experience and it was incredible; Mr. Máximo is an amazing person and Paulina as well. I can get to know the places and many people as well. Arequipa and the Pousada the hostel have my heart. I returned with certainty.
