The stay with Joan and Melani is pleasant; it is a completely pleasant and respectful living arrangement. The tasks are easy, and Joan takes great care of my back when lifting heavy weights. It is something that has surprised me. They have also somewhat changed their way of life (as much as possible) to adapt to the volunteer assignments we have taken on in this living arrangement. Joan has a lot of knowledge, and the conversations are very pleasant. I also greatly appreciate Melany's effort to help me learn French.

It was a very enriching experience; Joan and Melany's food is rich and very healthy; sharing with the children is very special—we are the soul of the place. It's a bit far from the city, but it's nice to connect with nature, a somewhat different experience that helps you forget a little the hustle and bustle of the city. Very grateful to the kids for opening the doors to their home 🫶🏼

The experience was amazing, and I enjoyed being surrounded by nature with the children, the host, and other volunteers. They were very kind with the transportation to and from the site whenever I needed it. The food was delicious, and I was immersed in an environment where people spoke Spanish, French, and English. I enjoyed having the possibility of doing different activities with the children outdoors, although they also have many toys and board games for when you have time.
