I had a great time at the surf house, I got to meet people from all around the world, and getting to know surf life in Portugal was very fun! As content creator, my schedule would vary every day depending on the activities happening, it was really fun having to take part on everything they do with other travelers and guests. the atmosphere with the team during my stay was amazing. For the upcoming content creation Worldpackers, I'd encourage you to set clear expectations about your tasks with David and the social media team, enjoy!

This has been my first volunteering experience and it has met my expectations. I have been able to meet fantastic people while I’ve learned to surf from scratch, living in a very picturesque and beautiful coastal town. The atmosphere at the hostel is usually quite calm, and you end up making many plans with the people you meet there. Totally recommended!! Many thanks to David and his family for welcoming me so well from day one :))

I felt at home with David and his Family! I loved to be there and I just felt sad when I had to leave. The work is really nice, and flexible and the team makes it enjoyable. Always there is a good vibe in the house with guests and volunteers, many barbeques, surf sessions, hikings, sunsets, etc. It is an experience to live and learn exchanging ideas with because people hears you I definitely will come back if I can, but in the meanwhile I will miss u all! David and his family were amazing.
My girlfriend and I were very well received and we had all the training necessary to perform our tasks very well; the tasks were very clear and complied with the agreement.
Commitment is highly valued and necessary to meet deadlines and deliver results without needing to put in extra hours. Occasionally it takes more time, but they themselves help when that happens and you work fewer hours afterward.
Speaking of which, in our free time we took surfing lessons, hiking, and city tours.
We will return, whether as volunteers or as guests.

I spent 5 incredible weeks at the lssc and they flew by completely! I met a lot of people from all over the world and formed friendships that I will always keep in my heart. I loved the surf lessons, the BBQs, and the moments shared with the other volunteers, the guests, and the rest of the team, to whom I am deeply grateful❤️. La communication e l'organizzazione sarebbero potute essere migliori a volte, ma le condizioni concordate sono sempre state rispettate. Grazie di cuore ad Ana e David per questa esperienza incredibile! Spero di tornare presto. Obrigada💙🤙
