I had an amazing time at Lobo Hostel and in La Paz. I worked during breakfast, taking orders, serving plates, and washing dishes. Especially while serving breakfast, you get to interact with a lot of people, which is really nice.
Even though I didn’t speak much Spanish, the staff welcomed me and helped me learn new words—especially breakfast vocabulary!
The vibe at the hostel is great, and spending time with the other volunteers and guests was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it!

had a great time volunteering ! My task was social media, and though the work was laid-back, the biggest challenge was the WiFi. I had slow or no connection, especially in the team dorm, but the hostel did improve the WiFi towards the end of my stay. I was able to program the reels afterward! The couple running the hostel were friendly, and I enjoyed connecting with the staff(I woke up 5,30 and would help the morning team every day while taking photos and videos), especially Mauricio and Luis. Despite the WiFi issues, I’d recommend the hostel for its great location and welcoming atmosphere

Las personas que trabajan aquí son muy geniales, buena onda y tienen buena vibra. El cuarto de los voluntarios es cómodo, tiene ducha y baño dentro y es nuestro lugarcito cuando buscamos privacidad.
El señor David es muy amable y está predispuesto a escucharte :).

El anfitrión fue estupendo, respeto nuestros horarios laborales y de igual manera se tomo el tiempo de conocer un poco mas y llevarnos a un tour, las instalaciones cuentan con todos los servicios necesarios y la ubicación esta excelente. Personalmente estuve en el area de recepción y aprendi a manejar un sistema nueva y nos dieron la oportunidad incluso de comisionar en la venta de tours, todo el personal fue muy atento en todo momento. definitivamente es un lugar que recomendaría si buscas conocer la paz y sus alrededores, hay una buena organización definitivamente., sin duda regresaría.

Your schedule is clear from the beginning, but it is also flexible upon request. My Spanish is not great, but everyone was welcoming and some of the staff spoke english so I was able to understand what to do and how to do it well. The tasks at the reception are easy to learn and and they don't ask more of you than what you signed up for. The volunteers have a room together so it's easy to make friends with others. JD and Michelle, the couple that is responsible for the hostel also brought all of us to Chacaltaya on a little day trip and it was overall a great experience!
