The hours and tasks are completed as agreed; they are very calm and easy tasks.
You have a lot of free time to explore Siracusa, which is beautiful.
Communication with the hosts was not what I expected.
At the hostel you meet amazing people who stay there, and with the volunteers a nice group forms.
The housing conditions for the volunteers could be improved; several problems with the bathroom and a lot of heat in the summer since there is no air conditioning.

The best first volunteering experience I could have had! The tasks are exactly as agreed, easy to learn, and with very clear shifts from day one, which allows you to enjoy days off to explore Syracuse and its surroundings. The hostel is amazing, both for guests and volunteers. A huge thank you to Mike, Nicolás, Cristian, and Massimo for everything: they are a great team and a spectacular company. Lol Hostel will stay in my heart forever! <3

LOL hostel was an amazing experience! The team is amazing, sweet, fun and welcoming. My five weeks there was everything I wanted it to be. Siracusa and Sicily is beautiful and you have lots of time to do everything you want to on the island. Thank you!

My second home. I enjoyed everything about my stay, and will definitely recommend it to everyone. I met some amazing, sweet people at the hostel and the city was just amazing. I will forever have Siracusa, and LoL hostel in my heart <3
