- Because we work honestly for a just, environmental, and noble cause.
- You will have the opportunity to learn an activity that is not widely taught.
- We are located in the Mexican Pacific. We have incredible whale watching, manta rays, turtles and jungle.
- Our butterfly house has a privileged location and a delicious river; less than 1 km away you will find the Mismaloya Arches, the Eden Jungle (where hundreds of films have been shot) and the paradise of Vallarta.

You will be treated with respect and patience. We will strive to train you and guide you in the most appropriate way, and you will be included in the decision-making of our project to continue impacting as many people as possible.

They are not prepared to host volunteers; the lodging they provided was very far from the butterfly conservatory, and therefore I only stayed three days. I spent a lot of money. When I arrived there was no stove to cook with, I didn't have a water jug to drink from, the butterfly conservatory is beautiful but it takes too long to get there.

Hello dear! Our mistake was letting you in. You showed up uninsured, knowing that it is one of the most important requirements of our stay. However, we let you in. It seems a bit convenient for you to come and say this, when I called you one month before to remind you again of every detail: the house is one hour and twenty minutes from the butterfly house (which is also on this platform). I hope at least the information I gave you was useful. Regards

My experience at Morpho as a second volunteering placement was very rewarding. The biologist Alejandra is very committed to the project and the safeguarding of the proyeto. I also learned from biologist Alonso, from whom I learned more about the proyeto thanks to his patience and dedication to the project; I also worked in the restaurant area, collaborating as a waitress and I was always kept busy, time goes by quickly. I am very grateful for the time I spent there; for personal reasons I had to withdraw earlier, however I am very grateful for the time I spent and what I learned. Thank you very much.

My stay in Morpho was completely wonderful; Ale and her family are great people, I grew very fond of them and learned even what I hadn't imagined. Ale, in addition to being a great person, is an excellent biologist completely focused on her project. During my stay, I shared with Alonso, a biologist who in addition to being very patient is an excellent mentor; now what I know about the project I also owe to him. I was in the butterfly area and it is extraordinary to share with the project so closely. I am leaving with a full heart and deeply grateful.

Volunteering is a very pleasant experience. I was in the restaurant area, where I could help with various activities; you stay busy.

I consider that one downside is the lodging's location, since it is on the far side of the place where the volunteering takes place. Getting there by truck is easy, but the transfer can be a little tedious. Apart from that, it's an excellent place.

I am very grateful to Alejandra for all the time I spent there. It is an excellent project and very environmentally friendly.

While the butterfly sanctuary is beautiful and I appreciate their overall goals, there was a substantial lack of communication. While they mentioned we would stay off-site, they neglected to include the almost 3 hour commute per day to and from the sanctuary. Unfortunately, the 5-6 hour workday plus 3 hour commute was a deal breaker in the end.
