Melrose Hostel

Our recently renovated staff room is sectioned off from the rest of the hostel for peace and privacy, and furnished with two curtained bunk beds shared among a diverse team of three (soon to be four) incredible volunteers. We strive to cultivate a warm and inviting environment.

I try my utmost to conduct myself personally and professionally with fairness as the guiding principle. I feel a deep sense of responsibility for the well-being of all staff and try to support their ambitions outside of the hostel. The decision to hire another volunteers comes from wanting to improving work-life balance by dividing the workload among more people, and building a community in which everyone feels purposeful and fulfilled.
