Nature Camp in Amsterdam
Within the borders of Amsterdam, in the largest natural landscape in the city is our nature camp.
The best of both worlds: a bike ride away from the vibrant city and a quiet rural area and private forest!
We are a community of people who respect each other, can choose to be together but we respect your own time. The tasks are very clear for some positions and for others, we are flexible and arrange it individually. You can join a whatsapp group and then choose if you want to cook together / or not, get together, or not.

I stayed at Terragon as the housing counselor for almost 2 months and it was an amazing experience. Connecting with the kids and the volunteers was incredibly enriching. Claudia and Minne were at every detail of my stay and it felt like a home away from home. Truly, the way the housing is designed takes you back to your inner child and you connect with a joy that lasts throughout your stay!

As my first volunteering experience abroad I couldn't have wished for anything better! Terragon is an incredible project, and beyond the beauty of the place, I found an amazing community of people to share unique moments with. The tasks were clear and met in a super collaborative environment, and there was a great balance between helping out and free time to explore. Claudia and Minne are truly the perfect hosts, so kind and caring about volunteers' needs. I will come see you again for sure! :) Highly recommended!

Minne and Claudia were always welcoming, their way of trying to help the community from an ecological pov was super interesting. There's lots of different work to do off season of the kids the lodge. So if you're a hands on person it's great for you. The house/caravans were great and they even have a piano in the community center. We sometimes would eat dinner together with the roommates and with Minne and Claudia which was rlly nice. The kids the lodge usually goes from 9am-15 and tho it's a little hectic since it's centered around letting the kids be, if u're creative it's fun. TY for everything 🫶🏻

This experience has been an awesome opportunity to learn and enjoy myself. I really loved getting involved into this beautiful community because everyone was such an inspiration in so many ways. I learned so much from the whole volunteers community because everyone had something to share, so I felt really lucky to be here! I really appreciate spending time with kids creating arts and crafts linked to the storytelling - which is absolutely the best moment of the week due to Minne and his awesome ideas and talent-. The accomodation was okay too. The use of bikes facilitated was perfect.

This experience's been amazing! We really enjoyed spending time at the lodge. Every day was a new day full of creative activities and fun ways to get kids involved into the whole community of Terragonians. We'd like to remark on the storytime Minne develops, creating a magical atmosphere for everyone. Best of all! Besides, the accommodation at the camping was also comfy. The caravan we stayed in was a bit small but cozy. Also, Claudia and Minne were very welcoming and lovely! They make sure everything was okey and if not, they'd solve it very quickly. It's been a pleasure! 100% recommended <3
