Nómada Eco-Hostal
Our hostel is a project created in 2009 to provide an ecological lodging alternative in the center of Valparaíso, close to everything and in a quiet place, but with activities, entertainment and a lot of culture.
We have a multicultural staff with ecological awareness. We are always looking for travelers who want to share their experiences with us and with our guests, as well as volunteers who enjoy culture, music, and art. That is what we do here: support culture in our city.

My experience volunteering at the hostel felt like being at home; it was a safe, calm, and comfortable space. The tasks were easy to do and the scheduling was very flexible so that I could work on my days off. The fellow volunteers were very kind and calm; we shared lunches and outings around Valpo. It was a lovely experience, and the best thing about the house is Merkén, the talkative and spoiled cat.

This is a volunteer experience that I recommend to everyone! Whether you’re just starting out, because the team was very attentive and willing (I always had help when I had questions) or if you already have experience, because it was a lot of fun! The tasks are organized and calm, and moreover the team has a great vibe, whether working or outside of working hours, taking advantage of sunny days on the beach or at the viewpoints, as well as playing board games on rainy days!

The hostel gave me a very beautiful and humane experience that allowed me to build a home away from home. The hostel is lovely, comfortable and has a very particular energy. The schedules are respected and handled with flexibility, and although the tasks were changing during my stay, I always could count on Franco's willingness to help, listen and accompany.
In addition, it is very well located, in the Valparaíso area, a beautiful city full of art. I arrived for a month and ended up staying more than two months. Thanks to Dani, Franco and Jomar, and especially to the volunteers, for so much love and camaraderie.

My experience at the hostel was spectacular! From the first day I was welcomed by Dani and the team who quickly included me in the atmosphere that exists. Additionally, it was my first volunteering experience and I had a great time. The city of Valparaíso and its surroundings have a lot to offer.
