I had a great time at the lodge! One of the highlights of this experience, in my perspective, is the unique opportunity to completely immerse in nature. Despite its remote location, I had the chance to connect with the staff, guests, locals and other travelers outside the lodge. I worked 6h a day on marketing, social media, photography and video tasks, remotely responding to Eli. I enjoyed performing my work and the experience in general. Mi experiencia en el alojamiento fue de las mejores experiencias que tuve. Estuve completamente sumergida en la naturaleza y en la cultura de costa rica. Las personas que trabaja en el hotel se convirtieron en amigos y familia. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer mucha gente de diferentes países y compartir con ellos las clases de yoga en el hermoso shala que tiene el hotel. Me fui hace un día y ya estoy planeando cuando volver 🥰

La verdad que fue una de las mejores experiencias que tuve en mi vida. Conecte conmigo, con la naturaleza, con las hermosas personas qué hay en el alojamiento. Sebas, Su, Doña María, Don Alvarito ,Gustavo, lo máximo 💜🥰😍 Eli, con quien uno dialoga para hacer el trabajo, tiene algunos temas a nivel comunicacional, pero se que es una gran persona. Gracias por todo 💜🌌

I had a great time at the lodge. The team is very friendly and helpful. I got good typical Costa Rican meals and a satisfactory accomodation. I served the meals for the guests, helped in the kitchen (dishes) and worked sometimes in the garden. It is wisely to speak intermediate Spanish and English to communicate with the team and the guests. You can go to this place by a taxi from Drake Bay or by Boat from Sierpe. You should like to stay in Nature and far away from a City.

El lugar donde está situado el voluntariado es muy lindo, se pueden ver muchos animales, hay mucha naturaleza, selva y playa. La gente que trabaja en el alojamiento, que son locales, es muy atenta, muy cariñosa y buena onda...nos permitieron aprender de la cultura, de sus tradiciones y nos hicieron sentir muy bien. la relación con la anfitriona fue bastante desafiante, ya que nos traspaso muchas responsabilidades que no estaban en el acuerdo. Por ende, no se respetaron los horarios de trabajo, ya que tuvimos que cubrir sus tareas mientras que ella estaba de vacaciones.
