Ostello del Porto
Our hostel is located in Lovere, nominated one of the most beautiful village in Italy since 2003, right in front of Iseo lake. Lovere city center is only 10 minutes walking from our building.
Lovere is a quiet and small village but can offer a lot, especially in summertime.
Our location gives lots of opportunities for those who loves sports:
hiking, swimming, canyoning, climbing, trekking, biking, canoeing are only some of the activities you can do in this area.
By public transports:
Bergamo city center is 1 hour away
Brescia city center is 2 hours away
Montisola (a big island in the middle of Iseo lake...worth to see) is 1,5 hour away
Milan, Verona or Venice could be visited in your days off as day trips
This place is perfect for those of you who would like to learn Italian or to improve your Italian language skills. :)

We are two friendly and easygoing girls (Elisa and Valentina) that look forward in meeting new people that can bring some positive vibes and that can give us a hand in this beautiful hostel.

My stay at Ostello del Porto was a great experience! I felt very welcome and comfortable, I learned a lot, and met wonderful people. The work is straightforward and you have enough free time to explore. Lovere is beautiful town with a lot of nature and a beautiful lake. Would love to come again!

Since I arrived at the hostel I felt like I was at home. The staff that works there is very kind all the time, always concerned about how we feel. Also the place is very nice and is located in front of the lake with a spectacular view. Very grateful for the days I spent in this volunteering 🫶🏼.

I really enjoyed my time Ostello del Porto! The work was very easy (washing dishes, helping clean rooms, and covering the night phone—which only rang once in 2 weeks) and didn’t usually take up more than 2-3 hours a day. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful and I stayed in a room with 2 other Worldpackers which really made my experience. However, I volunteered in late September/October and unfortunately the ferries were not very consistent meaning that it was more difficult to travel outside of the area or to other towns on the lake than it would be in the summer which I wish I knew.

Ha sido una experiencia inmejorable.
Por un lado, Lovere es un pueblo con mucho encanto y está un lago precioso con muchos sitios por descubrir.
Por otro lado, el Ostello del porto tiene unas instalaciones geniales, el trabajo está muy bien organizado y es ameno. Todo el equipo fue amable conmigo y me hizo sentir en casa. Vi porterò nel mío cuore, grazie.

La experiencia en el Ostello a sido increíble, el staff es muy relajado y amable. Las tareas son súper sencillas y las instalaciones inmejorables. El hostel está ubicado en un lugar de ensueño que aunque te llueva lo puedes disfrutar igual. Muchísimas gracias por todo 🫶🏼🫶🏼☺️☺️
