We appreciate your stay and help in our home. Remember that volunteering is more like a community training in which you have to be willing to be autonomous and to take initiative, above all a desire to contribute to a world where basic recycling, like the one we do, is a poorly paid job and seen by the conditions that arise. Also take into account the autonomy and/or food sovereignty of the place where food recycling and the harvesting of crops are fundamental to our lifestyles.

My time at Oveja Verde was super nice! On the one hand, they care about plastic recycling and give you the possibility to support in it. On the other hand, they are a beautiful cultural center that gives everyone the chance to blossom and be creative. It's a welcoming community with lovely and amazing people who made me feel like home from the very beginning. For me, Oveja Verde is a little paradise in this world that works hard to make a change. Thanks for everything!

The experience at Oveja Verde was was amazing and useful. Since the very first moment, we felt welcome by everybody and it really became home for a week 🙏 We talked Spanish the whole time and we got to know a lot about Chilean culture, history and food. We learned more about recycling processes - that was the aim of our stay - and I think this should be a life experience for everybody!
