Parnaíba Hostel
Our space is located in the city of Parnaíba, in the coastal region of Piauí, and in the Delta do Parnaíba Environmental Protection Area (APA Delta do Parnaíba). The city is pleasant, and we are in an excellent location that allows travelers to visit some of the city's historic sites, and provides easy transport to beaches and other nearby towns. We are very close to two national parks, Sete Cidades Park - PI and Ubajara National Park, as well as Jeri and Lençóis, which are about 200 km away. Our coastline is quite small, but it has stunning beaches. Our people are very welcoming, and our food is also marvelous. Being in a protected area, the tours here are very peaceful, and for nature observation, the local fauna and flora are our tourism stars. The tours in the Delta do Parnaíba, walks on the dunes, on the beaches, and visits to the lagoons, are unmissable.
The volunteer will temporarily join our team, so we have the same care and attention as we give to everyone who contributes to our space daily!

My volunteering experience at Paraíba Hostel was incredible. It was wonderful to experience the routine in a bioconstruction house, a very tranquil environment in perfect harmony with nature. Inês and Keyni were extremely welcoming and dear, which made me extend my stay. Moreover, the city of Parnaíba is beautiful and exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend it!

My stay at the Parnaíba hostel was incredible, I helped with the move and organizing the new space that is turning out beautifully. The activities were intense because of the move, but it was really fun to participate in this moment. The schedules, shifts and days off were all respected; Keyni is very flexible and the host is very cool. He took me to get to know the places in Parnaíba and really immersed me in the native culture. Inês wasn't there in person, but was always available in the group when I needed. The accommodations are good; we stayed in the same rooms as the guests and breakfast and Conceição's company were wonderful.

The experience at the hostel was very peaceful. Since they also have a travel agency, I got two tours that made all the difference for me. They were experiences I already wanted to do and that, otherwise, I would have had to shell out a good amount. The house still needs some improvements, but the partners are already aware and working on it. As for the work, host Keine explained to me what needed to be done, and I organized my own schedules, which gave me a lot of autonomy. It was a beautiful experience, and those who think that the Piauí has nothing to offer are mistaken🦩🏜️😍

My stay at the hostel was light and fun! The host Keyni greeted me very warmly, was a great partner, flexible, and was always open to new ideas. The hostel is comfortable and very well located. The reception work was super easy and I had plenty of time to explore Parnaíba and its surroundings. What an amazing region! I had a lot of fun with the dear Conceição and I loved helping take care of the three felines that live there: Maria, Helena and Tokyo. Unfortunately, I didn't meet Inês in person, but she is also very nice. Thanks to everyone who made my stay in Parnaíba so special <3

It was great to be in Parnaíba at Keyni's hostel! I feel I could learn a little more about the piauienses and Parnaibans. Keyni, as a native, made it possible for me to meet different people and places. The work was quite relaxed, I stayed at the reception during the night shift. I missed having more activities that I could contribute to the hostel; I think it would be nice to prepare and organize possibilities and even welcome offers from volunteers! A hug, Keyni! I hope to meet you again!
