PetTeet Park

About us
Pam and Kevin Johnson, true West Australians at heart, have roots deeply embedded in the farming landscapes of Western Australia. After navigating through various careers, we embraced a new chapter in 2008, opting for a "retirement" that led them to a property near Perth, close to our children and grandchildren. We share passion for breeding miniature animals and restoring breed lines to their original size reflects a commitment to practicality. Convinced that smaller animals are more manageable for modest properties, novice farmers, and those not necessarily young or athletically inclined, we embarked on a mission to revolutionize traditional farming practices.

Welcome to PetTeet Park, where we specialise in breeding miniature animals. Our animals are carefully selected and bred for their unique characteristics and qualities. Our selection includes Babydoll Southdown sheep, donkeys, Australian Dwarf goats, Australian Miniature Hereford cattle, Australian Belted Galloway cattle, miniature pigs and pets, horses, Merino sheep and alpacas.

I had a great time at Pam and Kevin's farm! This was my first volunteer experience so I was a little nervous, especially since I have never worked on a farm before, but it ended up being a great experience! The work was very manageable and all tasks were very clearly communicated. Pam and Kevin are excellent hosts and I would absolutely recommend working on this farm to anyone looking to get a little taste of farm life.

I had a great time at Kevin and Pam's farm. The tasks were physical and repetitive for the main part, but there is always something happening around the farm that take you out of the routine. I learned a lot about taking care of the farm's animals (mostly chicks). Most of the time you work independently with the other volunteers but Pam and Kevin were really sweet and caring, listening to anything any issue or suggestion that can help improve the work. I really felt welcome and involved in the farm's life. Thank you so much for all the great memories.

We spent 2 weeks here and we had a good time with the other volunteers and animals, we mostly took care of the dogs and chickens (cleaning and feeding) and some different tasks from time to time. We didn't spend that much time with Pam and Kevin but Pam is very friendly and welcoming. It's a good place to be around nature.

At first, cleaning up droppings and feeding the animals was stressful, but the longer I stayed, the cuter they became. Then, working became enjoyable. I worked about five hours a day, which was more free time than I expected. However, a day spent just resting is boring. To appreciate the simple pleasures of eating and sleeping, you need small achievements. This volunteer experience taught me what those small achievements are. Thank you to my host family and the other volunteers for kindly accepting me despite my broken English. I'm sure I'll remember and miss those animals and the time I spent
