Pousada Barrabella

We are a seaside boutique guesthouse on the Camamú Bay coast, known for the beautiful view of the tropical gardens, pool, the décor of the spaces crafted by regional artists, the coziness of the rooms, the delicious cuisine all produced in our restaurant, and the friendliness of the staff. We are committed to sustainability; we already have our organic garden and plan to expand actions in this area even more. Pousada Barrabella is located 600 meters from the center of Barra Grande village and near the Carapitangui River, making it easy to get around by walking along the sandy streets. It is set in a wide green area and has an innovative architectural project.

Barra Grande is located on the Maraú Peninsula and offers a paradisiacal setting, with wide, nearly virgin beaches and warm, transparent water, ideal for snorkeling. It is the right destination for those seeking beautiful beaches along Bahia's southern coast, with amazing attractions such as the natural pools of Taipu de Fora Beach, the unforgettable sunset in front of Barrabella, the charming beach full of bars at Ponta do Mutá and the (almost) secret Praia de Algodões. It is impossible not to fall in love with every stretch of sand in Barra Grande, one of the most beautiful destinations among Bahia's beaches.

We are a small team of 20 staff members, many of whom have been with us for more than 10 years. Our expectation is to exchange experiences and knowledge with the wordpackers. We intend to host events at the guesthouse to foster integration with guests and the team, expand the promotion of the destination, reinforce sustainability practices, etc. We hope that the contribution of the wordpackers will bring a special experience for the guests and improve the quality of the services the guesthouse offers; we also hope that the wordpackers will be able to know and enjoy this little piece of paradise in Bahia! We have prepared a room with a bathroom to host the worlpackers and the operating hours at the guesthouse can be negotiated and made flexible according to each collaborator. We provide a meal, in addition to the breakfast served to the staff.
