Pousada Bodega da Terra

A Pousada Bodega da Terra is a unique space created by a Bahian artist. Built in an eco-friendly way, the house is constructed with natural and recycled materials. There is an artistic approach to every detail of the space, in a Gaudí-rustic style. The constant northeast wind keeps the interior always cool without the need for air conditioning. The Pousada has four floors with a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea on the top floor and a large garden full of trees and plants on the lower floor. The colors, wood and bamboo details in every corner, along with pieces of art, make the pousada unique and tranquil, full of positive energy and offering many opportunities for relaxation for our guests.
Pirangi is a small and friendly town famous for the world's largest cashew tree, which is just a 1-minute walk from our Pousada. The beach is just a 3-minute walk away.

Family-friendly environment. Only 3 people on the team: me, my dad, and you.
We believe in a flat hierarchy, so we respect each one's limits and dispositions, always adapting to what each personality requires.
With the proactivity of our teammates, we keep a calm environment free of rigid rules.

It was a really beautiful first volunteering experience, and it's a super beautiful place surrounded by nature. My teammates and hosts were incredibly kind from the very first moment, and they were also very flexible with regard to the schedules. No doubt I would recommend it!

We volunteered for a period, and the experience was so positive that we decided to extend our stay! We took care of the social media side and also of cleaning and organizing the space. From the first moment to the end of the extension, the host gave us total freedom and trust to work in our own way, which made all the difference in our autonomy and in the day-to-day flow. It was an experience that added a lot to our life and our journey. I highly recommend it to anyone who seeks a light, respectful exchange with space to create and contribute for real!

My time at the inn was my first volunteer experience, and far better than I imagined it would be. I enjoyed it so much that I asked Krys to extend and stay for a few more weeks. Easygoing work, a refreshing environment, surrounded by nature, a wonderful view of Pirangi coastline and surroundings, incredible people with diverse personalities with whom I made friends and learned a lot every day, and I know I will continue learning from so many memories I made during these unforgettable days. I remain full of learnings and happy to have passed through here. I hope to be able to return soon.

Our experience has been and continues to be incredible. We even extended our stay here. The hosts Santi and Krys are very welcoming and flexible with the schedules. The tasks are simple, like cleaning the interior and exterior common areas, and cleaning the rooms when guests check in and out (at the moment there are more long-term residents). We connected in a very light and genuine way with the residents and other volunteers. This place has an amazing energy and I feel privileged to be living here. Oh, and Coragem and Frida are the cutest dogs in the world 🫶🏽
