Puerto Nest Hostel
Our hostel has a perfect location just 1 minute from the beach in one of Tenerife's most touristy towns, Puerto de la Cruz.
There is a great atmosphere in the volunteer team. Barbecues are held to interact with guests, and on days off they also join excursions to Mount Teide.
There is a surf instructor and surfboards at the hostel.
If you like active tourism, you can help us create a great atmosphere and enjoy nature.
Volunteers are treated with respect and as if they were family. There is a climate of tolerance; diversity is very welcome. You will find volunteers from different countries; multiculturalism is essential for the hostel.

I spent a month volunteering and the experience exceeded my expectations. The work isn't difficult and the shifts are flexible, which allows you to enjoy and explore the island. The hostel is located in a quiet area, very close to the beach and a short distance from the town center. A special mention to my fellow workers, who were a real charm and, without a doubt, the best part of the whole experience. I'm going to miss this place and the people here a lot. Thank you for everything!

In the hostel we had a great time! The tasks are easy, the hours are respected and there is a lot of flexibility. The place is ideal if you are looking for peace, serenity, rest and a connection with nature without having to go far from the city. It is easy to make friends and get to know Tenerife with good company.

During this volunteering we had a fantastic time; it surprised us. It's a place with spectacular charm, close to the beach. It's not in the center, but it's in an area where you connect very well, and it's close to the center. We made good friends and everyone was very kind. We would have liked more volunteers on the team, but because it was the off-season we were few. Still, we had a great time; highly recommended, I would definitely come back 100%.

If you're looking for a calm volunteer experience, with a good atmosphere, in a beautiful place and near the beach, the hostel is that place. The location is ideal, in an authentic neighborhood of the hostel in Puerto de la Cruz, with local commerce, two blocks from the beach and only a 10-minute walk from the city center. The shifts are super calm, they match what they said in the description. You will meet people from all over the world, you will practice languages and you will surely make new friends. Without a doubt I would go back to the hostel, I would recommend it to anyone. A thousand thanks to Darío and the whole team!
