Pura Vida the guest house is a really relaxed place. The people there were really warm und nice. I was also able to do my open water and advanced open water course for a good price in exchange for my work there. I worked 4 days during the morning and 2 days in the afternoon. During the morning you clean the house, the dorms/the 2 studios. During the afternoon you do check-ins and creative work like painting walls/making boards for the diving center/gardening or anything else that you see that might be good for the place. The host appreciates initiative from you a lot.

Mi experiencia en Pura Vida fue increíble. Todo se dio tal cuál se habló. Cristóvão (el dueño) super amigable, con él se puede charlar y compartir experiencias, una persona increíble. Sofia (la manager) fue estupenda. Siempre atenta a que estes cómodo y confortable en el hostel y fuera del. Ella es super amigable y amorosa. Las tareas son sesillas y queda tiempo para hacer playa o pasear por las cercanias. Sagres es bellisimo y con mucha paz. Pura Vida a sido una de mis mejores vivencias. Tambien ahregar que es el lugar ideal para mejorar tu ingles y portugues.

My experice at the guest house was one of a kind! Working with Sofia and the other volunteer Lily was truly an amazing experience. The work is not hard and the tasks are well explained. I learned more about how to do check in and cleaning and i loved interacting with the guests. Come with true will of work and help and you will be absolutely satisfied by your stay! This is such a magical place with a lot of activities to do like surfing, hiking and diving. The volunteers place is really nice and practical. If you are looking for a nice place to volunteer in Sagres this is the place.

I had an amazing time at the guest house. I've made friends for life. Learnt a lot and it was an incredible experience. The shifts were reasonable 5 hours a day with a lot of downtime. Sadly it was winter so I couldn't explore too much but I'll be visiting again. Host is great super friendly, and so is the house manager :)

Tive minha primeira experiência como voluntário e gostei bastante, Pura Vida the guest house é um excelente lugar pra conhecer e contribuir de varias formas ao viajante. Muito bem localizado em Sagres, perto de praias incríveis. Fui muito bem recebido pelo Cristovão e staff da casa, assim facilitando minha chegada e estadia durante os dias que estive no hostel.
