My experience at the hostel was amazing; the place is beautiful, well-ventilated, and in the middle of the forest. The people who work there were super kind and welcoming to me. The work is also quite relaxed, and I could also take nighttime boat trips as part of the volunteering. I highly recommend the experience!

The hostel is a beautiful, peaceful, and harmonious place, the shifts are flexible and easy to handle, the atmosphere with the staff is always very nice. One thing to consider is the location; it is far from people and noise, likewise it is very easy to get around by bus. I could kayak, see bioluminescence, and learn new things Thanks to the hostel for such good energy! ❣️☀️

It was a nice experience. I stayed 3 weeks. The hostel is beautiful, in the middle of the forest and beaches are close, Paraty is 30min by bus. The work is easy, I was usually working every morning from 9h to 13h. People working there are nice.
From my part, I just missed some team "briefings" sometimes. Communication in the team was mostly on WhatsApp and in Portuguese (which I don't speak a lot) and I felt a bit lonely sometimes because there were not a lot of guests during my time there. Obrigada!

I have a great time at the hostel, the place is amazing, the house is literally in the middle of the woods, a great place to rest and see the nature, I've see tucanos, woodpeckers and parrots. The work hours are flexible, very simple tasks to do. The community is wonderful, I've meet local people who show me around and told me story's about the native culture. It was an interesting project, looking forward to come back and enjoy that lovely place and people

It was an incredible experience here in the hostel. The owner is a very good person, quiet and gentle with the costumers, staff and volunteering people. The environment in the hostel is amazing in the middle of the forest in Paraty mirim. I hope meet you again! Emanuel
