Sector Piedra lobo, ruta costera.
Volunteers who stay at our house will be completely unplugged; we live in a rural area with few inhabitants, it is a mix of countryside and sea, we have wonderful sunsets every day; if you want to disconnect from the city and connect with nature, this is your place.
We have many tourist attractions on the coast, which can be visited hitchhiking (auto stop) or by bicycle; being on the coast, many rivers flow into small wetlands and lagoons, so it is full of birds; if you like it, it's a good pastime; you could also find very interesting geological formations.
There is also a bus that takes 1 hour to Hornopirén, which is the communal capital so to speak where it is a bit more urban and there are more tourist attractions, such as the national park, lakes, waterfalls, etc.
Volunteers will be one more member of the family; we will eat together, work together and share good moments.
Our team is made up of my parents who come from time to time, my grandmother and my younger sister. We were born and raised in Santiago, and we have lived in the south for 14 years now; we loved vacationing in the south until we ended up moving all of us to live here.
Normally you will be with me (Valentina), and from time to time you will be working alone with my grandmother. It will depend on the day of the week you are volunteering. We travel frequently to Hornopirén, so you will have transportation to go and come if you like.
