If you're motivated and like dealing with hostel administration during your stay in a quiet and friendly environment that's the place to be.
We're two brothers running this hostel in Heraklion city center. We are both working during summer season and other people as well. As we looking for volunteers to help us with our family business we are expecting people who are interested in hospitality and always happy to improve skills and let us know about ideas You will be treated as a family member. Everyone is welcome. We expect the same from you by letting us know your needs and special requests you might have, before arriving.

I loved my experience at So Young Hostel. Yorgos and Pavlos are the besttttt and I couldn’t have asked for a better WP experience. They made me and Katie feel so at home with our new So Young besties ❤️. The work was chill and the shifts were flexible, could not recommend enough. Will miss so young sooooo much 💔! Had a great experience here and would definitely recommend. The work is as described and they are flexible so you can get to explore Crete & all it has to offer!

One of my best experiences volunteering, I felt at home, very good work environment, flexible and easygoing overall. The manager Yorgis, Maria and the Pavlos, made the experience for me, from the crete tips, fun conversations up at the bar and the occasional goats milk from Yorgis home, it was a one of a kind stay :) I'll be sure to stop by next time I visit crete!

So young hostel is a perfect hostel to volunteer at, you'll be able to meet the city of heraklion and the whole island of Crete. The job is fair and you have plenty of free time to enjoy the place.
Yorgis and Pavlos make the shifts easy and fun, and are great supervisors. overall I highly recommend volunteering here. 🙌🏻

Maria and Yorgos are truly welcoming and kind people. The tasks are easy and the working hours were always respected. Their hostel is one oft the best ones I've been to yet and you'll feel very homey in a short time. Defenitly recommended to anyone who wants to explore beautiful Crete!
(Only remark: Don't go after october, the season is over and it can get quite dead and a bit lonely maybe. ;))
