The Secret Garden Quito
We are one of the best backpackers' hostels in South America.
Established by an Ecuadorian-Australian couple and with the needs of travelers in mind, we have expanded to rooftop terrace and bar and an in-house tourist agency. Spread over 3 buildings and 5 floors, we offer everything a traveler needs. Here you can meet people from all over the World, improve your Spanish, learn new skills and get to know the locals and their customs. All that with the best view of the historic Old Town.
We have a strict rule that a volunteer can never replace a member of staff! Your role and tasks will differ greatly from the job of our local and international staff members. We want you to come and bring fresh ideas and energy, socialize with the guests and enjoy your time here, so you can spread your positive energy and experiences with our guests.

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel! The people were amazing, the food was incredibly delicious, and the working hours were really good as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a volunteering experience with great people and unforgettable memories! If I get the chance to do another volunteering in the future, I would definitely come back!

A perfect 10/10 experience! The hostel has a welcoming, organized, and healthy environment. The team is amazing, respectful and always willing to help; I felt at home.
