Wanderframe
Wanderframe is a platform I created to connect social-impact travelers who want to contribute to something lasting through the power of visual storytelling. Based in Lombok, I work with my father's NGO, Bale Nara Lombok, where I actively seek grants, donations, and partnerships to support underprivileged communities across the island. Through Wanderframe, I document grassroots initiatives such as coral reef conservation, mangrove restoration, tourism village development, birdwatching cataloguing, language teaching, orphanage support, and book donations. I also produce documentary videos with the hope of inspiring wider audiences to get involved and take action.
My goal is to connect skill-based photographers and visual storytellers to help amplify local voices, strengthen storytelling capacity, and create meaningful visual archives that communities can actually use. Beyond building portfolios, I want to form genuine friendships, gain new perspectives, and collaborate with people who share the same passion for creating impact through creativity.
For travelers who want to move beyond surface-level tourism and use their camera with purpose, Wanderframe offers a meaningful way to give back—while seeing the world through a deeper, more intentional lens.
I work independently and do not seek financial gain from this program. This is a non-fee initiative, created purely with the intention of supporting communities and conservation efforts in Lombok. My focus is on connecting people, skills, and stories in a way that creates real, lasting impact rather than profit.
Those who join are social impact travelers who share the same values—using their time, creativity, and experience to contribute meaningfully. There are no commercial expectations, only a shared commitment to ethical collaboration, mutual respect, and purposeful exchange between travelers and local communities.
