Wild Bee Hostel
We are located in the lush green mountains of Ella, Sri Lanka, surrounded by a peaceful and scenic natural landscape. Alongside our café, we also operate a separate hostel, offering guests a unique and relaxing mountain experience
Our team consists of 15+ dedicated local staff members who work across both the hostel and the café. They hold a variety of roles, ensuring we provide warm hospitality, excellent service, and a memorable experience for every guest.

I had the best time at Wildbee Hostel. The team was so warm and open-minded, and I loved working together every day. As Social Host, I created Instagram content, hosted events, brought people together, and my new ideas were always welcomed and put into action.
The accommodation was clean with beautiful rooms, exceeding my expectations, and as a volunteer I felt well taken care of. The place itself is beautiful, clean, and quickly feels like home.
Tasks were easy to manage, leaving plenty of time to explore Ella and connect with the place. I'll forever be grateful for this special experience.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was great, and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I really loved teaching yoga here—it was a wonderful way to connect with other travelers. I would highly recommend this volunteer experience to everyone!

One of the best volunteer experiences I've ever had. I was so sad to leave… 🙏🏽 everyone here is so amazing and so hard working with the biggest hearts. This experience filled my heart so much ❤️ I also feel like it helped me to grow as a yoga teacher as well. Teaching two classes a day and doing social media was so rewarding and so fun and I also got to learn and practice my Sinhala! 🙏🏽 the views, the food, the people… thank you so much for this opportunity… I miss you guys 💕 Stuti malis 🙏🏽

I had such a great experience at WildBee, the team is amazing and really kind, they were always taking care of me, I felt very welcomed and they made me feel at home. The rooms are extremely beautiful, super clean and with a stunning view. My tasks were as described, teaching yoga in the morning and afternoon, two classes a day, and did a bit of social media during the mornings as well. I can't even put in words how great their food is, I loved every single dish, also their family dinners with Sri Lankan food were the best. Deeply grateful for the opportunity given. See you guys soon. 🥰

I had a lovely time volunteering at the hostel! I taught 8am and 5pm classes and made social media posts for the cafe. Everyone was super chill and made sure I felt at home from the very beginning. It's a nice spot to relax at, and the sunrise hike was worth the early morning for sure.
