Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. I travelled to Iceland for the Worldpackers experience with a valid Irish visa, but I was denied entry at the border because volunteering is considered work in Iceland and I did not have the required work authorization. I understand that the immigration decision itself was not under the host’s control. However, I believe this is something that should have been properly clarified before I travelled, as it resulted in significant unexpected expenses and I was unable to take part in the experience at all.Victoria was present and suppor

My time with WF was incredible. During my stay I was able to work in three different locations, all of them which had very nice things about it. Honestly I couldn't have chosen a better place to start my volunteering journey. I managed to go to a lot of tours, meet a lot of incredible people and work in greenhouses learning a bunch about sustainability. Thank you, Victoria and Toti for the trust and opportunity.

Being in Iceland has always been a dream. Every moment with the community was amazing. Driving, going to the grocery store, seeing the auroras with special people… simply one of the best experiences of my life. Toti and Victoria were always very attentive and willing to help with any questions, it was truly incredible! I highly recommend it.

It was a wonderful experience being with this organization!! They were extremely attentive, offered me much more than I expected, and always cared about my well-being.
