This is my second time at the surf camp, and I can simply say that it is one of my favorite places, Esther and Alex are incredible hosts, they always care about making sure that the volunteers have a good experience, the tasks are simple and you have a lot of time to enjoy Tamraght and surfing! I recommend it 100%, until next time!

I'm about to cry, with immense happiness and sadness. Happiness as this was my first volunteer experience in Worldpackers, moreover in Morocco. Beyond the free stay and meals + stunning beaches and sunsets, what made it extra special is the host. Esther was like my “cool parent” felt like I was part of a Spanish family. Sadness cause they are close for the summer. I wish to stay longer for months. Because of their warmth, even if my stay ended, I am more than willing to help them as long as I'm free with their socials. As my heart and gratitude to them is not limited to my volunteer days.

My experience was great. I liked that they had a small house behind the hostel for volunteers, and Esther was always very attentive to my needs. The work was quite relaxed because I was there off-season. Sharing with other volunteers and guests was nice. In the end, we only had a minor communication issue regarding my departure time, as it coincided with the arrival of another volunteer, which caused us both a little stress. But with better communication, that could have been avoided. Everything else was fantastic, recommend if you want to be relax enjoy surf and connect with local people.

Volunteering at Marktub was such a lovely experience ✨ The work was relaxed and there were even some quiet days with not many guests, which made it really nice to spend time at reception reading and enjoying the atmosphere. The location is amazing, super close to the beach, and the sunsets there are definitely worth enjoying. The surf beaches around are also incredible and make the whole experience even more special. The tasks were always well organized, and Ester and Alex made sure everyone worked together during check-out cleanings, creating a really good team environment. Thank you so much.

I had a really great time in Tamraght. The managers of the hotel were really nice and provided us with all you need. You got breakfast every morning and groceries for yourself to cook. I felt like through the experience you got to know the country in a better way than as a tourist. The work was good to manage - ironing, cleaning, preparing breakfast and checking guests in. The communication with the managers was easy and you could always ask them if you needed something. You also get a discount on surfing lessons and they are nice things to do around the area.
