Was fun and met some awesome people. Had a good atmosphere. Go and try it out and see for yourself if you like the accommodations, hours, and people. If you don’t, then now you know!
ITH is a nice place for staying a short time like one month or less. If you want to travel a lot or study probably you will not have a time for this because you will work six hours per day , four days per week like a real employee. All the staff is volunteer too, just the managers and more one or two more real employees. Also, when you arrive you will know about more things for to do like a long metting at monday, extra active with the guests and the volunteer need to do a especial project per week. It's a nice place, but you need to know before, you will work a lot.
My experience there was awesome. Maryanne is a great manger and make everything to give people a good experience. Hands up for the volunteers team =)
I was doing reception mostly, working 3 day a week.
On Saturday I could run the Tijuana Tour and make some extra money.
Summer season can be busy, but no worries.
If you like party, welcome to right place.
Marco! It was awesome to have your energy here at Hostel! You were always smiling and laughing among the guests and staff, and your Tijuana Tour was very well reviewed! Thank you for all of your photos and shares and promotion for our hostel as well! We welcome you to return anytime to say hey! Cheers Marco!
This was my first time in a hostel and also the first one with worldpackers and i think it was the best ever in my life! I improved my english, met a lot of people from all over the world and also with the volunteers we made the best team ever. Work sometimes could be tough but for the experiencie i think is totally worth it!! There's a lot of things to do in San Diego. I really reccomend this place to volunteer just have to keep in mind that plus the activities and the other tasks in total is more than 24 hours per week though It was the best summer of my life. Thanks ITH Family <3
Edith was such a kind and caring employee of our hostel. She did work, was flexible with schedules and activity planning. She was really great. Just great. She learned reception quickly and helped us out as a housekeeper and receptionist over the course of many months. Definitely would recommend !
There’s no words enough to describe my experience in the hostel
The staffs and guests were amazing!
It’s an excellent place to improve the English, hangout and make friends
For me was really one the best experiences of my life and I would recommend for everyone
I just wish to come back soon!!
