The project, the house of changes - and that is absolutely true. I'm so grateful that you always had an open door , that I could share my thoughts with you, and that you were interestet to all my suggestions. I truly appreciated how welcoming and open-minded you are! The weekend in the mountains will remain a very special memory for me forever. Thank you for everything - Hati Hati, always.

I had a great time at the project. You stay with local family, the host is super friendly and make you feel really welcomed. They also have 5 kids that you can spend your time with and help. It is a place of community, where you can learn more about their customs, Indonesia and meet local people. Tasks where mainly helping with house hold chores and the kids, and then few times a week teaching local kids English in a fun way. Lot of free time. Would recommend coming here if you want to immerse more into slow local life and meet interesting people. Would love to come back one day🫶🏻

I already know I won't have enough space to write exactly how I feel about the project. There is no place where I felt as accepted as here, this family is a treasure and I truly hope the best for their future 💗 Being part of this community helped me learn a lot about myself and I will forever be grateful for the love I received here. I already know I will come back one day for sure. Never hesitate to apply here, you won't regret it 💕 give lots of love to Ami, Glegar, Djawa, Gni, Kinaya and Lire for me. Thank you for this wonderful experience, showing me the real Indonesia 💗

My time at the project was really special. Ami and her family were very welcoming and I felt immediately at home. Unfortunately, I only stayed a week. Just when I understood the rhythm of the living there, I had to leave. Our days were very relaxed. The morning we could fill in with anything we wanted to do and help out a little bit with the house chores. In the afternoon we were teaching English twice a week. There are many friends visiting the project during the day. They will love to get to know you and take you to places. It was such a beautiful experience. Thank you Ami and everyone else! 🫶

I didn’t got to experience the volunteering, I was supposed to meet the host at a bus station but he didn’t show up.
Cannot say if is good or not but doble check the arrival before time to avoid inconvenience.

As previously discussed,we had recommended an earlier arrival. However, you arrived on the same day the event began. Even while we were running the event and despite there was no fixed meeting time,we had arranged a team member to pick you up.Unfortunately, extreme weather caused serious signal issues beyond our control.Once the signal returned,we contacted you, went to the bus station and called several times without response. We sincerely apologize & will ensure this doesn't happen again. Thanks.

I felt welcomed and introduced to all the locals, the members of their community. Ami and the others showed me around and I got to meet a lot of people, had great conversations and really got to experience how the locals live! Thank you the project!!

Hard to put my time spent with the project into just a few words. One of my absolute best volunteer experiences! Their main priority is cultural exchange, if you are looking for an authentic local Indonesian experience this is the perfect place. Each volunteer who comes has a different experience. I happen to be here for their annual event and spent my time living in a small village with a family and helping the locals prepare for this event. They have a holistic approach and spent a lot of time meditating and connecting with nature. Come with an open and flexible mindset :) I hope to be back!
