We are working on repairing and improving certain areas and places of our retreat center (Skeppsudden). There are also new construction projects (mini houses, tents...). For that reason, we would like some extra hands to help us with this task. Knowledge in carpentry, electrics, and tiling is highly valued for this position. We are a retreat center that aims to provide fair and harmonious living to all in Skeppsudden :)

Surrounded by forest and sea, it offers a unique space for reflection and meaningful connections. Zita welcomed me as both a wonderful leader and a friend. Roderick has a rare ability to look you in the eye and truly see you, while Cris has a great sense of humour. I'm grateful for the honest, deep conversations, the freedom to be yourself, and the genuine care everyone shows for one another. I left with beautiful memories and would wholeheartedly recommend this experience!

The Center is a place that can change your life. It is a harbour for so many different people to meet, with the common truth of being connected to life and committed to feel more present and more themselves. There is forest and sea, peace and excitement. I can guarantee that this is a space where you can learn so much both on a practical and existential level. I'm deeply and forever grateful for having found this place for it has found me in ways that I have been quietly longing to for ages. It is possible indeed to thrive in a community build upon connection, freedom and curiosity.

That was a great experience! Roderick, Zita and Vittoria are extraordinary people. They treated me like one of them from the very beginning. We had lots of great conversations, tasks were super transparent and pleasant and the fact that you're in the middle of nowhere helps you to reconnect with yourself. Highly recommended!

I came to the Center with the hope of escaping a culture of individualism and avoidance, and I accomplished exactly that. I was immediately impressed by the culture of intentional openness I found here and an authentic desire to deepen community thereby. The people here have truly allowed me to bring my whole self, happy and sad, healed and healing. I cannot express how meaningful this has been to me. The work done here is never about the work; it's about humans building a home and a sanctuary for themselves and others. This is a place I suspect I'll carry with me for the rest of my days.
