Maytha is one of the most inspiring and enriching human beings I’ve ever met. She welcomed me into her home with open arms.Through her lifestyle, her way of thinking, her strength, her creativity, her kindness, and generosity, she changed the way I see life, and myself. She opened my eyes to how precious the Earth is, to its wonders, and to the deep gratitude she feels for nature.Working in her orchard was a blessing, because of its beauty, but also because I discovered how much I enjoyed the work.I am beyond grateful to know her and to have had the privilege of living with her. ❤️

What am I going to say about you, María? It made me so sad that you left. María is the kindest person you could meet, affectionate, attentive, hardworking, responsible. I wish you all your dreams come true, a thousand 🫂

2-week stay, I chose to leave on my own initiative
Organization: I felt disrespected by 5 days of housekeeping (contrary to listing) and schedule changes: she granted then tried to cancel an earned day off in wk 1 (I had to insist), it was for a big favor and shift of rest days, then wk 2 she assumed that rest days was shifted.
Communication: I felt uncomfortable with vague tasks, zero explication, criticism of task completion (the favor one) disrespect about nationalities, and zero empathy during a family loss.
Conclusion: I suggest honoring agreements and dialogue to adjust such points.

First I want to mention the one-star review from a guy who, like us, had to leave much earlier. The house is dirty, there are flies everywhere, even in the fridge, and the sheets seem not to have been washed. Even though we always finished the tasks, he got angry if we had worked less than 5 hours. In addition to these hours we had to cook for everyone and wash the dishes even when I was unwell. He woke us up before the alarm went off and entered the room (which had no door) while we were sleeping. After we left he accused us of destroying a filter that we don't even know where it is.

I always present the house as very clean, you all didn't clean anything, only one day you cleaned the floor and you told me about it as if you had done a great thing, if you come and find the house clean the obligation is to keep it in the same state in which you find it, I passed by one day when you weren't here to see the state it was in and I told you that you had the room that looked like a pigsty, you never cleaned the house, nor the bathroom, nothing at all, the guy from the review didn't leave, I threw him out
