It was a great experience! I loved spending the mornings taking care of the garden beds, being visited by talkative guests, and hearing all the birds; then the afternoons I explored all the surrounding forests and hiked to the waterfall view point. The days ended by making noodle soup with different ingredients from the garden each night. Perfect! The gardeners were on holiday so I never met them, but luckily I knew what to do so I just set my own tasks. Finally, Thabo and the owner Nick are extremely welcoming. I wish them all the best. Also thanks Phillipa!

The experience was incredible! the guest house is beautiful and offers a wide variety of activities, including music classes, art exhibitions, a bookstore, and several cafรฉs, making every day enjoyable and unique. The gardening work was pleasant, the accommodation is very comfortable, and we also had the opportunity to meet local people and interact with the community, which made the experience even more special.

We were warmly welcomed and given a clear explanation on how our stay would work from the very beginning. The accommodation was extremely comfortable.
The work itself was as expected, very rewarding, especially because of the time we spent with the Gardner Beggy. He shared much about the local culture.
Thanks for Sandy the manager that took time to know us and took us out to dinner with her friends. Hanging with locals was amazing. We felt very appreciated! Highly recommended experience.
