Cultural Exchange: English Practice & Stay in Salvador!
The experience
We are a couple living in Salvador who discovered volunteering while traveling in Europe. After this positive experience, we decided to host our first volunteer. The help consists of practicing English with us through conversations and dedicated moments to speak English during the week. It is a cultural exchange, not formal teaching. The volunteer will sleep on a sofa bed in the living room. We value respect and good coexistence.

It's a "roots" experience for backpackers who enjoy cooking and chatting. Explore Bahia like a local and help our home become more global. Join us!
Rules
Before we finalize everything, we would like to share a few important details and house guidelines that may not have been very clear on the website.
Aloisio and I are a gay couple, and we live in a one-bedroom apartment with a living room. The living room has a sofa bed, which will be the space prepared for you.
We value respect, openness, and a peaceful environment. Our home is a safe and welcoming place, strongly against racism, homophobia, or any form of discrimination. We kindly ask that anyone staying with us shares these same values.
We are easygoing, friendly, and enjoy a relaxed daily routine. We also appreciate good communication, mutual respect, and keeping shared spaces organized.
Our goal is for you to feel comfortable, respected, and at home with us. That’s why we wanted to share these details in advance, so everything is clear and the experience is positive for everyone.
