We are a couple living in Salvador who discovered volunteering while traveling in Europe. After this positive experience, we decided to host our first volunteer. The help consists of practicing English with us through conversations and dedicated moments to speak English during the week. It is a cultural exchange, not formal teaching. Definitely my best volunteer experience ever! Aloisio and Ronaldo has been like a family to me and I was feeling protected like a baby. They are very welcoming, flexible, communicative and literally turned friends for life to me. We went to discover the city together, I tried all the possible dishes of Salvador in only two weeks and we shared intercultural moment, like making pasta fresca at home. Unforgettable experience and can't wait to see them soon again :)

My time with Ronaldo and Aloisio was simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at home. We spent a lot of time together, and they introduced me to incredible places and delicious local food. It has been one of the best volunteering experiences I've had in Brazil so far. I would highly recommend staying with them if you want to experience the local culture, discover Bahia through the eyes of locals, and enjoy authentic everyday life.

Renaldo and Aloisio are incredible hosts. From my arrival to my departure, they took great care of me. They went above and beyond to show me around Salvador, helping me discover the culture through their circle and through the richness of Bahian cuisine. As for schedules, there aren't really any, think of this experience like a mini summer camp. The goal is to connect as much as possible and discover each other's cultures!!! I highly recommend stopping by!!! And I thank Renaldo and Aloisio from the bottom of my heart—I'll definitely come back to see you, you can be sure of that!
