The Forest of the Sacred (generally known as the Living Sanctuary) is a healing and natural-connection proposal nestled in the mountain range, just a few kilometers from the village of Uspallata. Each visitor can plant a tree as a symbol of memory, future, or love, receiving an optional ceremony based on the four elements. If you’re looking for ancestral sites, the mountainous surroundings of Uspallata host important 'sacred places' for the indigenous cultures. The main one is Cerro Tunduqueral, located 7 km from the village. It is an Archaeological Park and a place of great mysticism where you can observe more than 400 Pre-Inca petroglyphs carved in stone.
