Could not recommend the reserve more! Lisandro is the absolute nicest man, in the most beautiful place. It truly was like a second family with Lisandro the host, Cucho the dog, and all the other volunteers. The work was super fun, and enjoyable to see the progress and the vision of the project, and to learn something new. The constant field trips to town or to friends houses were always a blast. Couldn't recommend it enough!

My stay at Los la reserva was short but I still leave full of new learnings, of lovely friendships, and with a new perspective on everything around us. The place is rustic and simple, but the feeling of living in the middle of a valley surrounded by mountains, cacti and good vibes is priceless. We work with what nature offers; depending on the season, the tasks change. Lisandro is the host that every volunteer should have, present, empathetic and attentive to what you need. Thanks🏔️❤️

What can I say
From my 30 volunteering experiences that I have done, I can say that this place is a true volunteering opportunity.
You can feel the incredible energy to make the world better and to improve ourselves.
Lisandro is an amazing person; he presents himself exactly as he truly is. And he opens the space to be there.
He knows a lot, and I hope that whoever arrives here leaves with a little of the light that this place emanates.

The experience with Lisandro was amazing, he is very approachable and easy to understand.
We were able to practice and learn a bit of Spanish, he taught us about the local culture and history, and the work in the forest was calm. We helped with house cleaning, preparing meals, planting trees and building the domes.
I'll miss the forest and everyone ❤️🌳⛰️
