The Experience

We are a Dutch-Brazilian family living on a former dairy farm in the Dutch countryside. We host travelers in holiday houses and caravans, care for animals, and grow food in our permaculture garden. We welcome WWOOFers to help with daily farm life, maintenance, gardening and shared meals, offering a peaceful place to connect with nature, creativity and slow living.

I loved my stay in the farm, it was a beautiful experience where I had so much fun, the tasks are easy and when I didn't know how to do something Ellen was very patient to explain it. Also I very much liked that you are in control of your hours, you have to work 5 hours, but you can distribute them as you wish. Thabk you for everything!

I had a great experience with Hellen and Edu. They are wonderful people who make you feel very comfortable in their presence. I felt like I was staying with cool cousins who were taking care of me abroad. I really enjoyed my time working on the farm, being close to nature and the animals. The region is also beautiful, perfect for anyone who enjoys cycling. Also it's only about an hour from Amsterdam by train.

It was really cool!! They are very welcoming, if you speak Portuguese it's a very good experience to practice English, I could converse both in English and in Portuguese… the tasks aren't that easy but the working time is super relaxed ❤️ I learned a lot! And if you like cats you'll love them—the farm animals are super affectionate
