I had so much fun at my time with the hostel! I've made friends and memories that will last a lifetime with both guests and staff. The hours I had were great, though since it was the first time of them hosting their own yoga classes on the property, there was a bit of miscommunication regarding hours and job roles sometimes. After conversations there were easily improved upon! The volunteer house could be improved alittle bit, the bathrooms and lack of AC especially but it was nice to have our own spaces. The staff works really hard and are extremely friendly and helpful. Wishing the best!

The experience was great! I taught yoga and the space was beautiful and so serene. The only thing that was a little challenging was the heat in my room. The fan is great but not the most helpful. Also the bed is right by a window where people walk by - and very little privacy (there were several times I was verbally harassed for simply being in my room with the lights on). The entire team is great.

My time at the hostel in Flores was amazing! It was my first time bartending (before I just worked as waitress), but with the help of the team and the welcoming atmosphere I learned so much so fast. Doing the Activities at the nightbar was also really fun and a great way to meet new people. As a volunteer you stay in a seperate house on the island just minutes away from the hostel, which was so comfortable it really was great to have a calm space to come to after the shifts. It really felt like a little family as it was just the volunteers sharing the house.

My time in the hostel was incredible! My shifts at the bar were always fun, making drinks, being part of the activities such as beerpong or foosball tournaments. You meet so many different people (travellers, locals). During the day you have enough time to explore all the beautiful things Flores has to offer. There is a lot to explore! Besides that you live in an extra house with the other volunteers which helps to calm down after working and creates a second home away from home. I would definitely come back here!🤍

I truly loved my experience at the hostel, especially during the Christmas season. Diego and Jeorgie are very attentive, kind, and flexible. We were accommodated in a house located just next to the hostel, which was very convenient. The breakfasts were excellent, though the dinner portions could sometimes be a bit small. Especially for those of us working until 1am. One aspect that could be improved is communication. Some information was not shared or I received it very late. For example, I only found out on my last day that we had access to free kayaks.
