The Experience

We need a young woman to help us in our guesthouse; the work involves cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms, and making the beds (between 10 am and 1 pm). At the end of the day, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, there will be work in the kitchen or garden. We enjoy welcoming foreigners and talking about their countries and France. You can come to the Meung-sur-Loire train station, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Paris Austerlitz.

I had a lovely stay at la touanne. It is a wonderful place in the middle of nature. Nicola and Christine are great hosts and always make sure that everything is perfect for the guests and the volunteers! The work is as written in the description and easy. I will miss this place, it felt like being part of a French family:)

I spent four unforgettable weeks at this beautiful château. Coming from a busy city, living in such a peaceful place surrounded by nature was a truly healing experience. Christine and Nicolas were warm and funny, and always made sure I had everything I needed. Christine's cooking was amazing, and I really enjoyed gardening. It was such a lovely place surrounded by nature, with a huge château estate to explore. The work was easy, mostly in the mornings with a little bit in the evenings. Nicolas and Christine prepared a delicious lunch every day. The rest of the time was yours to enjoy, so if you love peace, quiet, and nature, this is the perfect place.
