I had a wonderful time at the hostel. Stephane is a friendly, caring, and helpful host who always made sure everything was okay and our needs were met. The work was easy, with tasks including the cafe, check-in, and cleaning (volunteers only help with cleaning on weekends). I met great people and felt like part of a family. The hostel is very clean (Yoko is the best!) and close to Namba and Dotonbori, the center of Osaka. Kitchen facilities are limited, but you can use the microwave, air fryer, and small oven during the day. They're unavailable once the hostel opens. Thank you Stephane!

Working at the hostel was my favourite part about being in Japan! The hours are completely fair and it's very easy to ask for time off if you want to go explore areas around Osaka. Stephane was an amazing host and communicated what needed to get done and when. If I am ever back in Osaka I know exactly where I am staying🫶🏻

Super recommend! The place is great to meet japanese speakers and international travelers alike. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, it was a pleasure spending these few weeks! The location is also perfect for enjoying nightlife in Dotonbori and Namba. Definitely visiting again next time I go to Osaka.
