My time here was great! I mainly worked reception at the SOM Hostel (20min walk from the hostel) and everything ran smoothly and was easy to pick up on :) Everyone is super friendly and helpful for whenever you need it. I would definitely come back and I'll miss the whole team :(

I volunteered here and I'd do it again. Special shout to the team and to Nico for the organization. Everything was organized, the work was nice, and you always knew where you stood. The team was nice, and that's the part that stays with you. I have a family in Valencia now. When I come back, it's to see them. Worth saying for anyone who works remote like me: I kept working the whole time I was here. I could use the facilities while I worked and it was never a problem. Recommend it!!!!

Not really what I was looking for. I was disappointed after making a lot of effort that seemed to go unnoticed, the hostel is not a great place to meet travellers and communication between the owner (Arturo) and the volunteers was at times disrespectful, sending general messages like "if you don't like it you can pack your bags and go home". The breakfast was a couple of pieces of bread and often times no butter or jam and instant coffee. The volunteers helped make the experience 4 stars but if not for them I would rate it 3 stars. Shout out to Alexis and Caro for being amazing people.

Mi experiencia en Valencia fue increíble gracias an mis compañeros y a todo el equipo del hostel. Trabajé como recepcionista y mis principales tareas eran recopilar la información de los huéspedes para el check-in y el check-out, atender llamadas telefónicas y vender algunos productos. Los horarios de trabajo se respetaron completamente, algo que valoro mucho. También destaco la buena relación y comunicación entre los managers y los voluntarios, lo que contribuyó a que la experiencia fuera muy positiva. Me llevo lindos recuerdos y amistades ❤️

Me encantó trabajar aquí, me sentí super bienvenida desde que pisé el hostel, aprendí mucho sobre las tareas de recepción y los hostels están super bonitos. Todo el personal que trabaja aquí es muy amable, abierto y buena onda así que todo pasó super llevadero y no puedo creer que pasó tan rápido el tiempo. Gracias por todo equipo el hostel 💜 ya los extraño
