It's perfect if you're looking for a quiet space, surrounded by nature and if you like to do activities outside. I spent a chill month there, plenty of time for myself. The tasks were easy and Bridget is very kind (she cooks amazingly!). It was my first experience being the only volunteer and without fixed shifts, so for me it felt a bit chaotic at the begging, but then I got how the work was. Don't hesitate in contact me if you have any doubts! I enjoyed my time there and Jason (the dog) is adorable! Thank you for this experience 🧡

Thanks for the great feedback, Paloma! 🧡 I think your comments will be useful to anyone considering coming here. I prefer to have more than one volunteer, but it doesn't always work out that way... I don't think fixed shifts would suit the house, but many tasks are regular and need to be done at roughly the same time of day - like guest room turnover after guests leave or straightening the kitchen after meals. I guess I like to organize things according to process rather than time!

It was my first volunteering project and I loved it🌟 The tasks were very easy, mostly cleaning rooms, walking dog and helping with breakfast. Bridget and her family are very nice and generous people, it was fun to become part of their life for a month. And Jason is adorable💗 Bridget was a great host for me! She has a lot of thing to do which is incredible of how she manages everything, so sometimes it can be a little chaotic and needs to clarify for more details😄. And she cooks amazing, like a real shef!!! I had enough free time to work online, connect with others and explore places around

Bridgit is very kind and communicates well, and her family is just as nice. The work was not too hard, i enjoyed all the tasks i was given, and had plenty of time to relax. Their home is beautiful with a lovely kitchen and amazing views. I loved being able to cook and bake every day with an established kitchen and variety of ingredients! Evanger is a cute town and i had fun exploring the mountains with their dog jason. Thank you for welcoming me to your home, i had a great couple of weeks <3

The time in Rodanhuset was nice. We were living with a big family and helping them in BnB routine and with renovating the house (like painting or fixing doors). The nature around is beautiful and there are some hikes. There were a lot of instruments to play, books to read and a very active dog :) Thank you!
