Staying at the project was really lovely! Huii and Peter are super welcoming and the property is beautiful! It was really rewarding to contribute to a well established permaculture project. My friend and I had a great time staying in Dulan as well, plenty of good food and nice beaches nearby— would try and come back if I was in Taiwan again!

My time at the project Passenger's was very sweet! Working 7-11 was a great schedule, and I really looked forward to feeding the animals every day. The farm is located really close to the ocean, and it was easy to bike from where we were staying to the beach, the farm, and around Doulan. I would definitely recommend coming for a chill work environment and slower pace of life. Huii and Peter are SUPER knowledgable about both Taiwan and permaculture, and I am so grateful to both for letting us into their world for a little (and Peter for the smoothies!!!).

My experience at the project was truly valuable. Taking care of the animals and learning how to live by making use of what nature provides gave me many new insights. The host kindly showed us a different way of living from what we're used to and was always considerate when we were unfamiliar with something. I learned a lot from this experience and really appreciate all the care and support.

Huii and Peter are wonderful hosts, they made our experience at the project memorable and fun. Not only did we learn a lot about permaculture and it's guiding principles, but we were able to get to know Huii and Peter on a personal level as well. They are kind and generous, and always made an effort to ensure we had the best experience. From taking us on adventures after work, to sharing their knowledge and taking great care of us, they made our stay smooth and comfortable! We especially appreciated the accommodation in Dulan, a lovely nearby town. Thank you the project!

Thank you Zada and Sofia for the feedback! We really enjoyed your stay and help in the gardens and trying your best to cook with what was available from the garden. They were all very delicious and beautiful meals! And it was fun to go on some adventures with you two! Good luck with the rest of your journey!

This is a very nice eco-farm which will give you insight into a lovely part of Taiwan. The farm is very beautiful and alive with lots of insects, lizards, etc. The small local town is cute, right on the beach.

In August, the work was feeding/caring for livestock and weeding. We also hosted a course on eco-communities, during that time volunteers worked in the kitchen. It was often very hot or very rainy. Host was kind and let us choose how to structure our hours. We stay in a separate residence 8min by bike from the farm. Most volunteers are Taiwanese, so you can practice your mandarin.
