Such a great experience, Marco was great. He was sweet, funny and understanding when I had to finish a school assignment. The work is good, he tells you what to do every morning and you usually have the rest of the evening to take in the nature. I found the jobs fun and kept you busy. The stay for volunteers is sooooo nice, I loved the cave room and the view for morning coffee is gorgeous. I am writing this the same day I left and I already miss it so much. Marco took us to the beach one day and gave us good recommendations for activities to do on the weekend! I wish I could have stayed longer

I have such fond memories living in the mountains, cooking with the other volunteer and enjoying the peaceful and quiet. This place is great if you enjoy nature and a break from city life :)

Marco was a wonderful host and the surrounding areas were beautiful, a nice historical village in the mountains. He brought us all over town and the nearby nature parks to see all the amazing local sights. He seems to be quite well known locally so we often met friends of his. If you're into restoration and building or sometimes painting and decorating, this is a good place.

Easily one of the best experiences I had so far! Marco and the town Marciaso will forever hold a special place in my heart. I met some of the loveliest volunteers, and Marco made the space super open, fun, and always made sure we were all okay. I loved cooking meals together with everyone and sharing fun experiences. The day to day tasks can vary, and Marco always makes the effort to show the beauty of the Tuscan country to us and what it has to offer!

Marco is kind and wants volunteers to experience his local region. From hikes, swimming at costal spots, events to eating out. I wish I had learnt more Italian before my visit so I could have communicated better.
I was really fortunate to have volunteered at the same time as a bunch of the loveliest people! Loved the adventures we got to experience, meals we got to share preparing (balsamic glasse) and most of all the companionship/conversation. Work is varied from cleaning, yard work to painting/decorating. Village of Marciaso is peaceful with spectacular views of mountains. Grazie Marco!

Marco is an incredibly generous and selfless host who expects nothing in return except for a little gratitude, openness, and a genuine willingness to enjoy the experience. I had a great volunteer experience. I met amazing people, learned a lot and really enjoyed my time there.
The work was enjoyable and varied. I mainly worked in the garden and helped paint the windows. Everything was well organized and the atmosphere was always friendly.
Marco was amazing host. He took us on trips, showed us places where usually locals go. We went on trip with his hiking group, it was beautiful sunset hike and definitely one of my favorite memory of this experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for unique volunteer experience in nature
